To expand our Sales team, we are looking for a Business Area Sales Manager/Engineer in Poland.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the sales results of a particular geographic area or industry sector;
• Responsible for the follow-up of existing clients and the development of optimal customer relationships;
• Responsible for the further strategic development of new customers and ecosystems;
• Be able to conduct direct negotiations with end customers regarding new/current quotations and contracts;
• Verify incoming orders and organize the required internal and/or external kick-off meetings;
• Provide feedback and input regarding marketing activities, possible trade fair participation, etc.;
• Participate and take responsibility in the entire sales process of the Contec group;
• Provide input regarding the improvement of business processes and resources;
• Responsible for the timely elaboration of tailor-made quotations for the automation projects that are imminent at our customers.
• Able to read and interpret specifications;
• Remaining contact with potential suppliers regarding prices and technical specifications;
• For detailed questions outside (and inside) your own specialization, you can fall back on the project engineers of the various departments.

• You have a degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience;
• You have a thorough knowledge of one or more branches within industrial automation;
• You can work autonomously as well as in a team;
• Thinking analytically and working accurately are no problem for you;
• You enjoy working on projects on a conceptual basis;
• You are communicative and enjoy contacting customers, suppliers or colleagues to gather sufficient information to make a competitive offer;
• You are stress-resistant and strong in organising your work. You set priorities and respect deadlines;
• You are fluent in Polish and English;
• You are in possession of a driving licence B;
• You are fluent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
