To support our IT department, we’re currently looking for a motivated and experienced Office IT Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• Managing, maintaining and optimizing the office IT infrastructure of all our Contec offices, including servers, networks, and workstations;
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing end-user support. You take ownership of this yourself, without relying on external IT partners;
• Implementing and managing security measures and actively contributing to cybersecurity thinking;
• Performing system updates and upgrades to ensure efficiency and safety;
• Collaborating with other departments to develop IT solutions that support business processes;
• Actively thinking along about improvements and new tools within the IT environment;
• Documenting IT processes and procedures.

Who are you?

• You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, IT, or equivalent through experience;
• You already have several years of experience in a similar role;
• You have solid knowledge of networks, servers and workstations;
• You have experience with Windows environments. Some experience with Linux operating systems is a plus;
• You can work independently as well as in a team;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You think proactively and have strong problem-solving skills;
