What will you be doing?

You will be involved in managing the accounting processes within Contec, as well share responsibility for general financial services. This for both our HQ in Belgium, and for several of our international entities.

• Your varied responsibilities will include:
  • Processing of financial transactions;
  • Registering purchase invoices;
  • Processing expense reports;
  • Preparing payments and monitoring incoming payments;
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable;
  • Asset management;
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closings and tax declarations;
  • Reporting, including monitoring financial KPI’s;
  • …
• You will work closely with colleagues from the Invoicing team and other departments within our General Services;
• Project-based and ad hoc responsibilities include:
  • Transfer pricing;
  • Optimizing internal workflows and systems;
  • Monitoring of bank related matters, such as bank warranties;
  • Audit processes for Belgium and our other international entities;
  • …
• You will report to the Finance Lead.

Who are you?

• You are looking for a full-time position with growth opportunities;
• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation;
• Ideally, you have gained a few years of experience in accountancy. However, recent graduates are also more than welcome!;
• You work accurately, and have a critical and analytical mindset.
• You are proficient with MS Outlook and Excel. Experience with Power BI is a plus;
• You speak fluently Dutch and English;
• You are a strong communicator, both written and spoken;
• You can work independently but are also a true team player!
