Job Objective

Organize, maintain & control the technical records for the Brussels Airlines fleet in such a way that any required information can easily be retrieved and that all aircraft technical records are in compliance with the lease contracts and EASA regulation

Key Result Areas

  • Update the maintenance follow-up system AMOS following receipt of all records of maintenance carried out and archive the aircraft Technical Records in a way that every document can be easily retrieved. (Reporting back of all performed maintenance tasks)
  • Scan events marked as "Scan document" and provide feedback to relevant department
  • Prepare various reports and lists of documents in support of aircraft lessor audits. Coordinate lessor visits during the lease, provide necessary aircraft documents and arrange aircraft visits. Analysis and follow-up of lessor visits reports
  • Prepare the files for Airworthiness Review and/or extension of the Airworthiness Review Certificates. Submit them to the Airworthiness Review staff to ensure that airworthiness reviews can occur before expiry date of actual certificates.
  • Analysis and follow-up of all ACARS reports (ARC process).
  • Updating & auditing of aircraft hard time component follow-up and review of rotable component changes and the corresponding system updates.
  • Review of ATL, Certificate of Release to service, workpacks for completeness, aircraft FH and FC. Provide feedback to originator in case of issues.
  • Check heavy maintenance documentation (third party MRO) packages for completeness. Upload C check defect reports
  • Coordinate the transfer of the technical records from external storage facilities to Brussels Airlines facilities, and convert hardcopy airworthiness files into digital format to ensure safe backup of maintenance documents.
  • Coordinate the cooperation between Logistics, Production, Engineering and Planning to improve the processes related to the quality of the Aircraft Records. (engine change records, landing gear change records, …)

Reporting to Strategic Planning Manager

Required diploma and relevant experiences

  • Higher secondary education
  • Preferably 5 years of experience in continued airworthiness (engineering, technical records)

Required technical skills

  • Excellent English
  • Knowledge of Part-M regulation
  • Aircraft continued airworthiness documentation experience
  • IT skills (MS Office and MRO software knowledge)
  • Analytical skills
