Who are we looking for?
Someone to design, cost, introduce and industrialize the international E2E rail solution within the Lineas Group according the (customer) product requirements and matching the SLA expectations.

Someone to steer product concepts to massification and optimisation opportunities to secure: the best resource productivity, the E2E product robustness and best cost to serve, taking as input the Lineas production and partner capabilities.

Someone to lead the needed re-engineering efforts across all involved stakeholders.when product performance is below quality targets you

Someone accountable for the product documentation and stakeholder concept alignment.

What are your duties?

  • New product design (NPD): you design, propose and cost a robust E2E product concept to match the (customer) product requirements, tender/quote deadlines and related SLA taking in account the production capabilities of our production areas, infrastructure, rolling assets and partners.
  • New product introduction (NPI): As project manager you introduce and industrialise in an agile way on time new international End-to-End rail products within the Lineas group taking into account the execution capability of all related stakeholders. You secure the needed product documentation, stakeholder alignment and the needed digital integration in our production tools to secure a smooth and safe product launch. During the first weeks of operations you follow up the product performance in hyper-care mode till stable operations and hand over to the operational team.
  • Product re-engineering for international concepts: when product quality performance is structurally below quality threshold and listed for stabilization need, you lead a root-cause investigation, action plan and product re-engineering track to improve product performance together with the related stakeholders.
  • You organize the functional steering of the local engineers in your operation areas to combine local proximity and experience with E2E design and product robustness.

What is your profile?

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, German or any other EU language is a plus
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in logistics, supply chain; engineering or applied economics with first relevant professional experience in rail
  • You have a previous work experience in a supply chain engineering or senior planning role with rail component.
  • You have proven track record in complex, international stakeholder management
  • You have demonstrated experience in a project lead context
  • You are able to think at the same time strategically and take into account operational reality.
  • You are able to interpret and present product performance data, facilitate root-cause analysis (f.ex 5W) and set-up re-engineering track
  • You are pro-active, stress-resilient, pragmatic, result-oriented
  • You are well organised and able to prioritize in a context of changing priorities
  • You have good communication skills and are capable to steer an cross-European team
  • You are a team player and you like to work with other people
  • You have an eye for details and you are able to think out of the box
  • You are pro-active, stress-resilient, pragmatic, result-oriented and flexible
  • You are willing to travel on regular base in the EU (approximately 1 week a month).
