Who are we looking for?

You are co-responsible together with the supply chain planning manager to ensure End-To-End Coordination to guarantee Customer Promise delivery and assure cost efficient End-To-End holistic optimization across internal and external production in a highly volatile environment on both Make to Stock and Make to Order Rail freight based logistic solutions.

You ensure Lineas customer bookings are translated to third party suppliers production system and assure accurate planning, execution and invoicing of the ordered services.

You are part of the Supply Chain Planning team. In this role you actively contribute to quality and cost effectiveness of our E2E products.

What are your duties?

For the following tasks, your scope applies from +3 months horizon until real time, for all suppliers on all corridors.

You are accountable to assure Cost Efficient End-To-End Coordination within your region

  • Assure capacity reservation, allocation and follow-up with (external/internal) providers on (sub)assembly level and initiate change request in case of changing demand pattern

You are in charge of the following tasks:

  • Purchase order : you translate Lineas customer bookings into purchase orders for third party services
  • Purchase order Acceptance: you ensure ordered services are confirmed and planned as defined in the E2E solution. The E2E SC Planning manager will rely on you for the quality and the cost of third party services.
  • Goods receipt : you ensure the services are executed as ordered and you keep track of delivered quality
  • Invoice control : you approve supplier invoices for payment and you keep track of the budget.
  • Subco budget : you monitor subco cost actuals vs budget and propose actions towards the supply chain planning managers

 

You have the knowledge of the business processes, offer support to colleagues by guiding them to the most suitable solution – and are able to act as a backup in case of increasing work load/absences.

 

You Indicate improvement opportunities regarding the own procedures and work instructions in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s operation and service

You and your team are accountable to act as first point of contact towards our suppliers

You support the E2E SC Planning manager in monitoring E2E quality and cost of Lineas production corridors.

What is your profile?

  • You have a bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
  • Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • You have strong communication skills both in writing and oral
  • You’re fluent in Dutch/Frech and English, with a good knowledge of the other language. German is a plus
  • Experience in purchase to pay processes.
  • Rigorous and meticulous to ensure accurate planning, execution and invoicing of purchased services
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders with strong communication skills both in writing and oral
  • You have strong analytical skills, complemented with the ability to think pragmatic and take into account operational reality
