Warehouse Manager-Sturtevant, WI

Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager, to join the team in Sturtevant, WI (USA).


Reporting to: Plant Manager


The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating activities of forklift operators that receive, unload, transport and store products and materials. Fulfillment of shipping products to customers and maintaining stock levels as well as warehouse organization.
Key Tasks & Activities...

  • Responsible for all warehouse activities to maintain sustained service levels according to production requirements
  • Provide daily activity responsibilities to forklift drivers and outline workload
  • Ensure proper scanning of materials to maintain Warehouse Management System integrity
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance by all employees and hold accountable if not compliant
  • Ensure quality product is being maintained and shipped
  • Provide on the job training to employees
  • Supervise the delivery of materials and supplies to facility upon schedule and/or request
  • Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety and fire prevention equipment
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts (5S); inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair or replacment
  • Report an employee HR issues
  • Report employee performance to manager for annual review
  • Others duties as assigned by manager

Who we are looking for...

Background and Experience

  • 3 years' experience in related management field; manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience required; Train the Trainer Certification preferred
  • Prior Management experience required

Technical Skills

  • Inventory flow understanding
  • Warehouse Organization
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, SAP WM
  • Strong problem solving capability

Interpersonal Skills

  • Motivated for continued education in the industry
  • Posses a good understanding of teams
  • Results oriented
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
