Who are we looking for?

The Sales Representative is responsible for implementing the Business Plan in France.

The objective of this role is to ensure business development by prospecting new customers in order to reach sales targets, and to design solutions adapted to their needs for conventional rail, modal transfer and multimodal platforms.

 

What are your duties?

Sales strategy

- Prospect for new customers and ensure that sales targets are met

- Develop a new customer base in order to design solutions adapted to their needs, based in whole or in part on conventional rail

- Promote modal shift

- Create a multimodal approach to acquire new markets

- Create new (or future) products based on market needs

- Develop new E2E rail products including rail ports & trucking

- Align with sales colleagues to convince current customers of Lineas for new Lineas products

 

Customer Relationship

- Participate and ensure the follow-up of commercial actions to be undertaken

- Negotiate commercial agreements (renewals as well as new commercial opportunities)

- Participate in commercial events (trade shows, meetings, ...)

 

Project and process management

- Contribute to the deployment of the commercial strategy

- Bring in new business and pass it on to pricing and engineering teams

- Carry out, analyze and interpret statistics and sales indicators

 

What is your profile?

- Higher education in sales with experience in the transportation and/or railway sector

- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position, with relevant field experience

- In-depth commercial knowledge of the French transport and logistics sector

- Perfect command of French and English (German is a plus) - International context

- Strong results-oriented leader with the ability to make proposals

- You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to listen and analyze

- You have a strong sense of customer service and are imaginative in optimizing effective individualized solutions

- You have strong negotiation skills

- You are very independent and have sufficient availability to take on the numerous trips that are planned
