Who are we looking for?

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of space related electronics development. You will act as the first point of contact towards the customer and will be steering an internal team of 5-10 multi-disciplinary engineers. You will take the lead in managing the subcontractors and suppliers. Candidates should have an EU passport, a Master degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical competences

  • Experience in management of technical teams for hardware development
  • Additional experience in embedded software and firmware development is a plus
  • Able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiar with practices of and dealing with the European Space Agency (ESA) or similar companies dealing with technological development (nuclear, medical, R&D, automotive, communication, …)
  • Experience in project budget control (manpower, procurements, …)

Soft skills

  • Well organized & accurate, being able to distinguish important from less important matters, and you are result-driven
  • Good communication skills and able to express yourself fluently in English
  • Eager to learn, loyal and you have a very high sense of responsibility
