Reliability Planner

I-Care Reliability, a global Maintenance and Reliability services firm is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance/Reliability Planner for a client in Jopin, MO.

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

The role of the  Maintenance/Reliability Planner is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating all planned maintenance activities performed at the site.

 

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead and support safety initiatives and processes to drive towards zero recordable injuries.
  • Examines the job to be performed and determines the best way to accomplish the work by consulting with requestor, visit the job site and analyzing the job requirements in the field
  • Detailed preventive maintenance, one-time request and major/minor shutdown job planning which includes:
    • Identifies each task and task dependencies to determine “what” and “how” work is to be done.
    • Review reference material like drawings, schematics and P&IDs
    • Determines required craft skillset for each task.
    • Determines the best way to perform the job, time it takes, and tools required.
    • Determine equipment and external resources needed.
  • Proficiency in SAP PM system and Microsoft Office Suite Software
    • Reviews and screens each maintenance request for completeness, accuracy and necessity.
    • Review all work order feedback to update PMs and standard work orders accordingly.
    • Ability to create Work orders, maintenance plans, tasks lists and update BOM items.
    • Search for Work Orders, Notifications, Maintenance Plans and BOM items.
    • Responsible for functional hierarchy ensuring current and accurate locations, equipment and BOMs.
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, materials management, reliability technicians, and reliability management
  • Development of planner reference systems including a file of planned job packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment.
  • MRO supply chain coordination
    • Obtain competitive bids, delivery dates, and monitors materials/parts delivery
  • Assist with capital projects on an as-needed basis
  • Must be flexible in working overtime, including occasional weekends and evenings when needed

 

Job Requirements

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment as a craftsperson
  • Must be 18 years or older

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong writing skills required
  • Ability to train and coach others
  • Ability to stay focused on future activities and avoid fire fighting
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Work well in a team environment and independently, as needed
  • Basic mathematical calculations and measurements
  • Logic, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to achieve results quickly; both individually and through teams
  • Must maintain schedule flexibility to ensure smooth production

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and technical or engineering focus or equivalent experience
  • 5 years working knowledge and experience with SAP and its functionality
  • 5 years working knowledge and experience with Microsoft office suite like Excel, Word, PowerPoints, etc..

  • Work overtime as needed
