Job Description

Your Career:

You will be responsible for leading technical investigation of materials systems for various emerging memory/selector systems such as Magneto-resistive Random Access Memories (MRAM), TFTs, Ferro-electric (FeFET, FeCAP) and non-ohmic devices (MS, MIS). You will coordinate experimental design and analysis of emerging memory material systems. Investigate fundamental physics and solid-state chemistry related to these devices to determine operation and failure mechanisms and improve device operation from fundamental principles. You will deliver a successful industry-grade emerging memory option with a cost structure and technical capabilities allowing the technology to replace existing memory technologies such as eDRAM and eFlash.

Your Profile:

  • Requires Ph.D. and Master’s degree, in physics, electrical engineering, or similar studies.
  • Strong understanding of solid state physics and magnetism including transition metal oxides, chalcogenides and ionic material
  • Memory device expertise with solid experience in device physics and device testing. Ideally you are proficient in analytical and electrical characterization methods including device reliability and good knowledge of CMOS integration and materials.
  • Strong understanding of device operation in memory system including NAND, DRAM and cache level memories. Knowledge of system architecture emulation (e.g. GEM5) is a plus
  • Experience in SPICE modelling is a strong plus.
  • Good technical comprehension and strong problem solving ability.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate efficiently in teams.
  • English communication is required.
