We are hiring Project Managers at all levels (junior, medior, senior) within our Lineas Production Systems department. Together with your Project Team you will execute multiple transversal improvement projects from start to finish.

Junior Project Manager

  • Execute 1 or 2 (transversal) improvement projects from start to finish / provide support to (senior) PM
  • Low complexity
    • limited amount of stakeholders (only internal, regional / national context)
    • basic data analytics
    • objective of project is clear & validated

  • Basic/academical knowledge in Project Management and Lean (Yellow Belt)

  • Utilize Project Management and Lean & Six Sigma techniques, defined by LPS, to execute each project in a structured way and to reach the project goals, within a pre-defined timing, scope and budget
  • Support the (Senior) Project Manager by taking over certain specific tasks (eg. update project planning, prepare reporting, prepare workshops, do project administration, etc.).
  • New projects are proposed to the (Senior) Project Manager LPS

Project Manager

  • Execute multiple transversal improvement projects from start to finish

  • Use your experience, creativity, perseverance and network to (proactively) identify and mitigate blocking points, as well as leveraging the project output.
  • Utilize Project Management and Lean & Six Sigma techniques, defined by LPS, and coach your team members to execute each project in a structured way and to reach the project goals, within a pre-defined timing, scope and budget
  • Support the Senior Project Manager and Program Manager LPS, by taking over certain specific tasks (eg. indicate interdependencies, define priorities, update project planning, prepare reporting, etc.).
  • New projects are proposed to the Program Manager LPS

Senior Project Manager

  • Execute multiple strategic transversal improvement projects from start to finish
  • High complexity
    • High-variety of stakeholders (internal & external, can be international context)
    • extensive data analytics & statistics (Six Sigma)

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in (multiple) Project Management methodologies and advanced Lean & Six Sigma techniques and tools (Black Belt)
  • Budget: €250k - €1M
  • Reporting to senior management
  • Use your experience, creativity, perseverance and network to (proactively) identify and mitigate blocking points, as well as leveraging the project output.
  • Inspire and coach your team members and set the example to execute each project in a structured way and to reach the project goals, within a pre-defined timing, scope and budget, utilizing advanced (and different) Project Management, Lean & Six Sigma techniques.
  • Optimize the techniques and toolkit used by LPS and spread this approach and culture throughout the company (eg. via trainings, workshops, lectures, notes, coaching and mentoring of (Junior) (Project/Operational Excellence) Managers, etc.).
  • Support the Program Manager LPS in managing the project portfolio, by taking over certain specific tasks (eg. fit of the project planning into the overall portfolio, indicate interdependencies, managing project pipeline, define priorities, prepare reportings, etc.)
  • New projects, and their place within the portfolio, are proposed to the Program Manager LPS

What are your duties?

  • Define and quantify the problem(s) that the project aims to solve. Summarize all necessary info in a project charter
  • Define and quantify the project goal(s)
  • Determine the project scope, what is in and out. May adapt the scope during the project in order to maintain the technical feasibility, strategic fit and people buy in
  • Define the planning and project deliverables for the project (using MS Project). Proactively identify risks that may impact project planning, scope or budget. Create and when necessary, execute mitigation plans. Adjust planning according to external/internal evolutions/happenings.
  • Identify key stakeholders. Provide interface and maintain relationship with stakeholders and other contributors to the project. Tailor communication to project team and stakeholders. Actively listen, understand and proactively communicate to stakeholders/project members
  • Report project progression to project sponsor, (senior) project manager and/or program manager LPS. Extensive use of visual aid (eg. PowerPoint). Perform steerco meetings to take project decisions.
  • Set-up the necessary KPI dashboards (leading and lagging) and apply visual management techniques to track progress and corporate contribution. Measure project performance and communicate about it. Escalate, share and take action to tackle any success thread
  • Document & archive achievements for future similar project.

 

Junior Project Manager

  • Attribute tasks to the project members, assigned to your project, according to their capacity & capabilities.
  • Ensure that the project team will meet the task/activity deadlines. Stay in touch with project team members’ line manager and ensure proper closing. Resolve conflict involving project team or stakeholders
  • Budget is allocated by Program Manager LPS Responsible for reaching project(s) objective(s) within budget. Follow the work of his/her project team closely in order to ensure the respect of the budget
  • Implement the change. Identify a pilot to test and evaluate several solutions
  • Know and apply the standard project management approach (defined by LPS).
  • Use basic Lean techniques to perform root cause analysis and identify optimizations (identify waste, identify and remove/reduce/automate non-value added activities, execute observations, do 5 Why analysis, draw fishbone diagrams, use pareto & effort/impact diagrams,…)

Project Manager

  • Assess quantity and type of required human resources. Create the project team and make clear agreements with line managers on team member utilization. Attribute the tasks to the project members according to their capacity & capabilities. Provide coaching. Set objectives, manage performances and ensure professional development of project team members.
  • Ensure that the project team will meet the task/activity deadlines. Stay in touch with project team members’ line manager and ensure proper closing. Resolve conflict involving project team or stakeholders

  • Establish the budget for the whole project (validation by Project Sponsor, Program Manager LPS and Business Controlling). Responsible for reaching project(s) objective(s) within budget. Follow the work of his/her project team closely in order to ensure the respect of the budget
  • Create the right environment to facilitate and implement the change. Identify a pilot to test and evaluate several solutions
  • Know and apply the standard project management approach (defined by LPS) and take actions to leverage the project outcome. Attend project management trainings to extend knowledge of tools and techniques.
  • Passive knowledge of the IT approval and development process, as well as IT-related project management techniques and approaches
  • Use basic and semi-advanced Lean & Six Sigma techniques to perform root cause analysis and identify optimizations (identify waste, identify and remove/reduce/automate non-value added activities, use observation techniques, do 5 Why analysis, draw fishbone diagrams, use pareto & effort/impact diagrams, perform process mappings, calculate correlation coefficients,…)
  • Perform advanced data analytics and do data collection checks. Work together with Operational Data Specialist and Business Intelligence to capture required data if necessary.
  • Define business cases in order to support GO/NO GO decisions. Make the distinction between OPEX & CAPEX. Work together with Business Controlling to validate these business cases.

Senior Project Manager
