Who are we looking for?

  • You (re)define, optimize and implement Infrastructure related standards, processes & tools in order to realise the long term Lineas strategy and contribute to the modal shift.
  • You coordinate the annual time table process across network and with the internal stakeholders
  • You actively support or lead projects on capacity processes, on international level incl contingency
  • You ensure an aligned approach of infrastructure managers across our network
  • You support the different corridor managers of the team on projects engaged with the IM’s, in order to secure and support Lineas innovative, qualitative and robust pan European rail solutions.
  • You support our Lineas operational network strategy and related improvement projects.

What are your duties?

  • You are a project manager and expert on international infra related processes
  • You make sure that all the projects at infrastructure managers side with possible impact on production are known & taken into account within Lineas
  • You take initiative together with Lineas Production Systems to implement improvements on infra related planning and cost awareness
  • Together with the corridor managers and the infra performance analyst, you are responsible for introducing processes to minimize the operational end-to-end costs of the use of infrastructure
  • You initiate actions on our infra network that improve the quality of our products
  • You see opportunities in leveraging different approaches in the different countries, in the advantage of Lineas and our network strategy
  • You make proposals to standardize production models and to reduce production costs while respecting or improving safety guidelines
  • You help to integrate the voice of the customer in planning & execution production and deviation management processes
  • You promote alignment and collaboration within CPM and also with other stakeholders within Operations and Sales departments
  • You define business requirements for the development of IT tools & innovation projects for infrastructure related topics
  • You actively support the performance, cost and efficiency reporting of the network, and derive the necessary actions and projects to improve quality, efficiency and productivity on the infra network usage

What is your profile?

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English and have a knowledge of the German language
  • Project management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills - team player and you like to work with other people
  • Experience in managing relationships
  • Flexible (hours & different workplaces within Belgium & occasionally abroad)
  • Able to interpret and present product performance data, facilitate root-cause analysis (f.ex 5W) and set-up improvement track
  • Organised and able to prioritise in a context of changing priorities
  • Ability to think at the same time strategically and take into account operational reality
