Who are we looking for?

Lineas is currently looking for a Claims Manager to supervise the claims organization. He/she will be part of the legal department and will report directly to the General Counsel.

What are your duties?

Be the owner of the claims processes and procedures within the Lineas Group.

  • Define and manage the claims processes and procedures, including the applicable (IT) tools in coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Manage, train and coach a team of claims advisors and coordinators.
  • Manage and administer claims in cooperation with the claims advisors and coordinators, from registration to follow up and closing of files.
  • Coordinate with the Insurance and Risk Management on insurance related matters.
  • Organize proper Internal and External (for example in the event of an audit by an insurer/broker) reporting

What is your profile?

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience (including development and management of processes and procedures) within an international claims or a logistics environment
  • Strong people management skills
  • Trilingual Dutch / French / English
  • Having knowledge of transport law and/or negotiating disputes is a plus
  • Fluent in classical MS-Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel, ...)
  • Analytical and solution-oriented
  • Combine strong technical competences with efficient communication
  • Work proactively and are eager to learn
  • Team Player
