Who are we looking for?

Together with the E2E fulfilment director you ensure that the fulfilment team is in order to (i) develop “one-company” culture (i) develop individual skills (ii) develop wellbeing at work (iii) assure decision are be taken as low as possible and as high as required.

Ensure that the fulfilment team is 1 team with 1 mission, bringing the supply chain control tower pillar seamless together with the RT execution pillar.

Supporting the management team with building the necessary competences, business expertise & change management within their organization.

You ensure that succession planning is key within the fulfilment organization, identifying and developing future leaders within the E2E fulfilment organization — not just at the top but for all the major roles at all levels. Ensuring the business is prepared for all contingencies.

What are your duties?

  • Setting up new organization and continuously monitoring organizational set up for improvements
  • Building balanced teams in a 3x8 structure
    • Ensuring necessary trainings are available
    • Monitoring wellbeing and taken the necessary actions
    • Being the bridge between the different functions
    • Continuously search for talents and develop them to become the next leaders
  • Continuously challenge the management team in leadership skills, business expertise and change management within their teams.
  • Linking with expertise centers
    • Together with the SME’s you evaluate that the processes are sufficient available
    • Together with the SME’s you ensure that the teams have the necessary knowledge of the processes
    • If processes are unclear you discuss with SME’s to ensure the required changes are done
  • Keeping track of competence levels of hard skills of the organization. Together with the line management deciding upon necessary trainings and personal development plans.
  • Being at the steering wheel of change within the organization
    • Deciding upon speed of change
    • Deciding upon the way of change
    • Co-deciding upon direction of change
  • Supporting in implementing the different phases of the supply chain control tower, mainly by supporting the management in the way the necessary change management is done and being the CT
  • Ensuring we transfer towards a data driven organization with the correct KPI’s to be able to steer upon

What is your profile?

  • You have a Master degree in Engineering, Commercial Engineering or Applied Economics
  • You are trilingual: English/Dutch/French
  • Knowledge of order management best practices
  • Knowledge of (Rail) Freight Management best practices
  • Knowledge of End-To-End Fulfilment best practices
  • Experience in People management
  • Interest to delve into the processes and tools is a must (prior knowledge is a plus)
  • Strategic thinker
  • Ability to think out of the box, well organised and able to prioritise in a context of changing priorities
  • You have strong analytical skills, complemented with the ability to think at the same time strategically and take into account operational reality
  • Pragmatic mindset
  • You have strong communication skills both in writing and oral
  • Change management experience in implementing supply chain (planning) management best practices
  • Willingness to travel
  • Talent and commitment to continue advancing in your career
