Assistant Finance Department

General Summary

The Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting Liedekerke’s Finance practice. With the future implementation of a new ERP system the responsibilities of the assistant will evolve towards a more diverse package of tasks and responsibilities.


Essential duties and responsibilities

The Assistant will have the following responsibilities :

  • Send reminders to clients for open receivables, in accordance with the internal procedures of the firm;
  • Input of invoices in different e-billing platforms;
  • Follow-up of long outstanding receivables with the firm’s partners and personal assistants in order to improve collectability;
  • Monthly reporting to management regarding receivables collection;
  • Be the contact person of the external lawyer who manages the outsourced receivables;
  • Ensure back-up for the preparation and drafting of invoices;
  • Provide administrative support to the team members;
  • Ensure back-up during absences of team members (including invoicing).



Bachelor degree or similar level through experience.


Work experience

3-5 years in a similar professional experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Outstanding language skills: Dutch, French and English, both oral and written
  • Pro-active, well organized, structured and accurate
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on
