Team Leader - Dumfries (UK)

Logoplaste Dumfries is currently seeking to recruit a Production Team Leader to integrate into the manufacturing department.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key tasks & Activities

  • Responsible for supervising the production operation to ensure maximum efficiency from all equipment.
  • Health & Safety compliant
  • High standards of Housekeeping are maintained
  • Supervising a team of technicians on shift for all aspects of the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.


Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Strong & positive people management background
  • IT – (Word, Excel), including SAP
  • Action orientated and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Mechanical / electrical experience

Technical Skills

  • Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous
  • Experience of Graham Wheel Blow Moulding machines would be advantageous

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent Team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
  • Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
