Description of the function:

The Assistant belongs to the Medical Affairs department and supports both medical and pharmacovigilance activities.

The Medical Affairs Assistant has several responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the managing/coding of adverse events/literature cases and perform the clinical assessment per internal procedure and applicable legislation
  • Report of cases to partners, Health authorities and Eudravigilance in defined timeframe as per local legislations and PV agreements
  • Contribute to the signal detection, benefit-risk profile assessment, RMP, PSUR and aggregate reporting activities
  • Contribute to answer healthcare professionals with medical information as per their request
  • Provide oral and written language support to the department
  • Manage administrative duties related to department activities (invoice/expense, traveling organization, events organization, literature database)


Your profile:

You are trilingual: German, Dutch and English are a must (written and spoken) ; French is an asset.

You are rigorous and work precisely as per procedures, rules and regulations. You are able to work autonomously and as a member of a cross-functional team. Your organizational and administrative skills are part of your strengths. You are at ease with IT tools.

A Bachelor or Master’s degree in a health-related or scientific discipline and an experience in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance role in the pharmaceutical industry are assets.

ICSR/XEVMPD knowledge/certification is a plus. Knowledge of PV management software (PcV), MedDRA dictionary too.
