Administrative Research Associate CMC - TEMP 1 YEAR

The CMC Pharmaceutical Development and Technology Department at Ablynx is looking for an Administrative Research Associate who will act as a centralised service provider and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the entire team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks specific for this support function (eg decentral requisitioner SAP for product and equipment ordering, organization of pipette calibration, collecting training records, organization of shipments, receiving shipments or ordered goods, organization of stock rooms…)
  • Is responsible for the correct and qualitative input in different databases (Biorepo, SAP, …). Plays a key role in sample, reagent and document management
  • Is responsible for the interaction with external suppliers: communication, and follow up of specific tasks (eg equipment maintenance)
  • Acts largely independent as contact person between his/her department and other internal service departments (eg facilities, shipments via reception, purchase)
  • Participates in the implementation of Sharepoint
  • Contributes to the development & testing of scientific data-workflows and to the uploads of data in the respective databases
  • Is accountable for and independently performs specific tasks within the department (eg. follow up of the ultra-freezer occupancy, assist the team in adhering to the specific database guidelines, support the implementation of new workflows etc...)
  • May include: support to basic lab activities (eg maintenance or calibration of instruments, buffer preparation…)

Profile

  • Experience with relevant administrative software is an asset
  • Team player, enthusiastic, independent, self-organized, ability to multi-task and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sense for initiative, quality, accuracy and detail
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English
  • MS Office: proficient level
