Financial Markets / Client Support & Administration Officer Administration Officer

The Third Party/ Markets Administration team is part of Bank Degroof Petercam’s Investment Banking department. Its activities consist mainly in:

  • being in charge of the administration of Financial Markets and Third Party clients;
  • being responsible of client’s requests (telephone/e-mail contacts);
  • being the point of contact for Compliance, Audit, Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting;

Your position:

  • As an Administration Officer, you will deal with:
  • Daily management of the Administration mailboxes:
  • Interfacing with other colleagues of Administration to dispatch the requested tasks and liaising with other departments, namely Administration of Accounts, Middle-Office, Compliance;
  • Coordination and follow-up on required actions and documentation with the aim of providing appropriate support to customers in a timely and orderly fashion;
  • Keeping all MiFID documentation up-to-date for each of the clients to ensure post trade suitability monitoring;
  • Account opening for new customers
  • Stock Options Plan’s administration such as invoices, trade confirmations, controls…
  • Active participation to projects
  • Daily contact with clients

Your profile :

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ideally at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • You have either an administrative background in Financial Markets, Commercial Banking or in a third party environment.
  • You have a professional knowledge (written and spoken) of Dutch and French and a good knowledge of English;
  • You feel comfortable when it comes to communication with internal and external client;
  • You have easy contacts with customers by telephone;
  • You are rigorous, have an eye for detail and have the ability to keep an overview of the different files and projects you are working on;
  • You like to work in a positive environment that gives you the opportunity to come up with constructive feedback and suggestions in order to help the Bank optimize the administrative support provided to its customers.
  • You are skilled at MS Excel, MS Word software and have a basic knowledge of SAP Business Objects.
