Fixed Income Credit Analyst

Fixed Income Credit Analyst covering High Yield and Investment Grade companies in the Automotive and TMT sectors

The analysts of the fixed income team have as main objectives to provide the fund managers with full and in-depth analysis on micro issues (specific analysis on credit spreads, corporate credit analysis, looking behind ratings provided by agencies and challenging them). Their work is essentially bottom-up and complements the top-down analysis done by the fund managers.
For corporate issuers, the team conducts fundamental analysis of the business profile (swot analysis, industry risk, … with a special focus on integration of Environmental, Social and Governance issues into the analysis) and of the financial profile (free cash flows analysis, liquidity, credit metrics, …), to determine the capacity of the issuer to repay debt, in time and entirely.
The structure of each bond is also analysed: contractual or structural subordination, covenants, etc.

Your position:

  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis and provide forward looking research views on companies belonging to the automotive and TMT sectors (telecom, media, technology);
  • Generate investment ideas for our fixed income funds, based on fundamental analysis and relative valuation;
  • Interact with companies management, rating agencies as well as with buy-side & sell-side analysts;

You will report to the Head of Credit Research.

Your profile :

  • The candidate has at least 5 years experience in credit analysis in an asset management or banking environment.
  • An interest for ESG aspects and a willingness to integrate those aspects into the credit analysis. Any relevant experience with analysis of ESG issues would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to assimilate a large amount of information and translate it into clear investment ideas. A critical and synthetic mind is key.
  • A team player and the ability to communicate easily.
