Principal Regulatory Analyst

Working within the Global Regulatory Affairs department within all the Estee Lauder Companies brands to supervise resolution of regulatory/product integrity issues concerning product registrations in global markets. This will involve working with cross functional teams within ELC and brands to support corporate initiative in developing the next generation of prestige beauty brands across all product categories.


Key responsibilities:

•Responsible for coordination work with other Product Integrity Groups and R&D to obtain technical data pertinent to successful submission of registration dossiers

•Participate in reviews of new formulations for global compliance where relevant

•Ensures changes/corrections to formulations are made according to formula regulatory review

•Monitor reformulations and liaise with brands to ensure implementation

•Coordinates preparation of all required foreign regulatory product registration documents to support desired market growth and possibly responsible for registration dossiers for most challenging markets.

•Directly responsible for coordinating training and supervising the temporary members of staff, including placement student.

•Review new products for ingredient acceptability and work with Packaging Operations on packaging and environmental compliance.

•Other relevant projects to fulfill short and long term business needs 


Key Skills and Education

•BSc or above degree in Life Sciences

•Experience in cosmetic/drug industry, preferably in Regulatory area

•Knowledge of other European languages desired

•Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills.

•Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

•Team player, able to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams and outside of organization.

•Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.

•Fully proficient and experienced with Windows Office, Excel and Outlook and computer applications.
