Project Manager Buildings and Facility

Would you like to contribute to the realization of different projects in the construction sector? Are you a born Project Manager with preferably already experience in facility services? Then we have the right job for you!

As Project Manager, you are responsible from the concept to the tendering phase for new buildings and extensions of existing buildings. You are the business owner for the facility assets and processes within our international level. You are responsible for the Capex and Maintenance of the buildings and for the application of the LLBG Facility standards and Best Practices.

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the realization of the projects and the follow-up of the study and realization of the various subprojects within our international level.
  • You ensure the supervision of the external partners in all phases of the project.
  • If necessary, you reorient through random checks during the work and completion.
  • You take care of defining the scope within each project.

You apply the correct architecture and technical standards in cooperation with the Expertise Center.

  • You ensure that the well-being of the colleagues is respected and present on site during the work.

Study and/or purchase of building plots or buildings:

  • Determine parameters for building(s) (plots)
  • Make conceptual preliminary designs
  • Verify available technical connection facilities and technical specifications
  • Evaluate plots in the region

Create and define the concept designs for buildings:

  • Organization of tendering process and proposition for choice of architects, technical engineering offices, safety coordinators, ...
  • Dimensioning of space and allocation of buildings
  • Integration of the equipment within the building and optimize the sizing and general layout of the building
  • Analysis of flows, circulation, parking, gardening, waste control management, signalization, fire security plan (compartmentation, sprinkling,…) fully aligned with insurance requirements, security plan (camera control, house gates, fences, active security, camera control, access control,…) within the plot
  • Informing and checking with authorities and services (together with the local architect)
  • Preparing preliminary general project plans

Verify and check the documentation received from the architect for permits (Urban, Building) and tenders

Organize tender procedures and competitions

  • Leading negotiations
  • Preparing technical and price comparisons
  • Advizing on selection of contractors and drawing up contracts in consultation with LLBG's legal department
  • Defining the general project planning, define the deliverables and main milestones and define the project team organization charts

Realize the contractual and financial follow-up of the projects during execution of the works

Assure the monthly follow up of the Capex: update the reports, understand the deviation and take actions to catch the budget and the timing forecasted

Your Profile

  • You hold a Master’s degree in engineering (Architect is a plus)
  • You have a min of 3 years of experience in project management (buildings - facilities),... in an industrial/production environment
  • International experience is a big plus
  • Knowledge of/experience in food industry is a plus
  • You are practical with a pragmatic approach
  • You have important communication skills and you like to work in team
  • Empathy is an important value for you
  • You are resistant to stress, perseverant and results oriented
  • Knowledge of English is a must; French is a plus
  • You are willing to travel 25%-50% of your time
