Mazda Motor Logistics Europe in Willebroek (BE) is the European logistics center for Mazda parts and accessories. Besides providing logistical services, it offers IT and financial services to 2.300 Mazda dealerships and 22 distributors in over 30 European countries. Since starting operations in Belgium in 1998 the turnover increased tenfold to 4.3 billion euros and employment has doubled. At present the Belgian branch of Mazda counts approximately 420 employees with over 16 different nationalities.

Coordinator Vehicle Logistics Administration

Coordination of the Vehicle Logistics activities at the ports in Northern or Southern Europe in order to guarantee the delivery of the new Mazda vehicles within the agreed time frame

Assisting the Vehicle Logistics Manager (region North or South) in the daily follow-up of the logistical activities via the ports to the dealers in order to guarantee a timely delivery.

  • Co-monitoring of the work of the logistical service providers and dealing with possible complaints
  • Being responsible for the daily coordination of the delivery of new cars from European ports to the dealers in order to ensure a timely delivery.

Guaranteeing an optimal service to the distributors in the countries concerned, in cooperation with the logistical suppliers in order to maintain a quality level of service.

  • Dealing with possible complaints

 Completing all administrative tasks for the logistical service providers in order to guarantee a correct and timely delivery.

  • Assessing, processing and creating invoices
  • Distributing and producing all relevant reports

 Maintaining the logistical information system (LEMANS) in order to guarantee a quality database.

  • Follow-up of the launch activities and projects in order to remain up to date and use this knowledge to perform your job-related tasks.

Personally maintaining good relationships with the terminal operators in order to get a better service.

  • Personally maintaining good relationships.
  • Act as a contact person for both the colleagues of Vehicle Logistics and the terminal operators and the local transporters.
  • Represent Mazda on-site.

 Coordination of special projects with regard to built-in accessories, in cooperation with the Vehicle Logistics Quality department.

  • Act as the on-site contact person for the colleagues of Vehicle Logistics, Parts Supply, MME, NSCs and terminal operators.
  • Arranging the daily capacities with the terminal operator and monitoring the planning in order to meet NSC’s requirements.


  • Bachelor degree is minimal requirement (for example: distribution, but this is not a must)
  • A few years of relevant logistical experience
  • A high level of self-reliance is a must, this job requires the ability to work independently.
  • You master the English language. Knowledge of Dutch is not a must, the lingua franca is English.
  • You have good social skills and are proactive.
  • You enjoy face-to-face contact.
  • You have good computer skills (such as Excel, MS Office), some BI experience is a plus
  • You are also communicative, eager to learn, stress-resistant and can work independently.
  • You are client-oriented.
  • You are a team player.
  • You have a real challenger spirit.
  • You are an administrative all-rounder and work accurately.
  • You are a good learner (able to absorb, analyse and (critically) process information swiftly).
  • The job requires a lot of travelling to various locations (such as Zeebrugge, Antwerp and the Willebroek office)
