BRU - M482 - HEAD OF QUOTE & PROGRAM SUPPORT (M/W)

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a Head of Quote & Program Support you will be responsible for the management of a team up to being in charge of two main topics, ie. the Quote (Proposal Management ) and the Program Support (Commercial follow-up of ongoing contracts).

  • Supporting and coaching a team of 14 experienced Quote & Program Support employees
  • Providing Management with dashboards and KPI
  • Consolidation and presentation to the Board of SABCA’s 5 years Sales Planning
  • Preparation of project business plans
  • Refine and/or redefine organisation, functions, systems and tools in order to optimise the existing
  • knowledge and competences
  • Ensuring sales administration from planning to invoicing

The accountabilities and responsibilities of your team-members are divided in two main topics :

Proposal Management

  • Assist the Business Developer with the set-up and the management of a team to answer RFQ’s
  • Collect of all relevant data & documents, cost estimates
  • Consolidation of data, defining assumptions, financial parameters and develop a business plan for
  • the project, including a risk analysis
  • Prepare the documents for the proposal to the offer
  • Present the project/business case to the General Management for approval
  • Performing Contract Reviews
  • Assist the Business Developer in the negotiation phase up to contract signature

Program Management Support

  • Management of Contracts : follow-up of orders (verify contract conditions), invoicing, payments,
  • disputes, ..
  • Assist the Program Manager during the negotiations of changes
  • Assist the Program Manager in the analysis of customer requests/requirements and in preparing
  • the answers to their questions (specifically on contractual and financial topics)
  • Update the Commercial Part(receivables, invoicing delays, …) of the Program Dashboards
  • Coordinate Contracts & Sales Risks and ensure mitigation of these risks
  • Participate in the relevant Program Meetings & Steering Boards
  • Ensure the adequacy of the product deliveries and/or milestones achievement with respect to the
  • contractual obligations
  • Ensure the correct and complete close-out of all the contractual obligations
  • Collect data/provide estimates concerning 5 years Sales Planning for concerned programs

PROFILE

  • Higher education in Finance/Economics or Commercial Engineer with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of B2B contracts, acquired in a technical/industrial environment
  • Sense for business and contracts; account/program management mind-set
  • Ability to understand technical issues
  • Coaching and reporting skills / People management
  • Continuous improvement mind-sent; ability to define specifications for a change concerning a process of
  • information system
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Fluency in French, Dutch & English
