Account Manager

For our client, Microsoft, we are looking for an Account Manager. Are you looking for a challenging position in a professional organization? Do you have a commercial drive and passion for Multimedia - IT and gaming? Then you are our candidate!

As an Account Manager, you are the calling card for Microsoft to the Media Markt stores.


  • You are responsible for achieving the sales objectives;
  • Following up & explaining marketing campaigns on the sales floor;
  • Increasing the sales of Microsoft products inside the stores;
  • Building a good relationship with the points of sale;
  • Provide product training to the sales in the store;
  • Inform store staff and enthuse them about the latest products and "news";
  • Check whether the agreements made by the “head office” are implemented on the shop floor;
  • Participation in fairs and events;
  • Proactively and independently answering questions from the stores;
  • Weekly reporting of visits to the Sales Manager;
  • Because of your commercial approach and charm you know better than anyone how to respond to market developments and customer wishes within this channel.


  • You have a good feeling with the retail market;
  • You already have at least 3 years experience as Sales - Field Sales;
  • Knowledge of the purchasing strategy & operation of Mediamarkt is a +;
  • You can easily enthuse people and get them into a story;
  • You have strong communication skills and have command of the Dutch; French & English language in speech and writing
  • You enjoy working with targets;
  • You are strong in organization (drawing up a visit agenda) and able to set priorities;
  • You can work independently and always want to push your limits.
