At Wondercom, the way we handle privacy is a vital aspect in the responsibility to our employees, customers and partners and is a decisive factor for building your trust. The Privacy Commitments set out the principles governing our approach to privacy and how we work with our employees, partners and external stakeholders on relevant issues. This Policy is of a general nature and therefore the information provided in it may be complemented or removed totally or partially by other policies, notices or information of a more specific nature that may have been or will be made available in the context of certain types of processing of personal data.

Wondercom Group, ( hereafter“Wondercom”) is an integrated group of companies wich includes  Wondercom, Lda., WonderTrade e a KnowledgeWorks, Lda.

 

What does this Privacy Policy Cover?

This privacy policy applies only to the collection and processing of personal data carried out by Wondercom as data controller, within the scope of recruitment process managed through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) CVWarehouse.

 

Who is the Data Controller and Data Protection Officer?

The entity responsible for the collection and processing of personal data is the company of Wondercom Group which determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data, namely the entity who request the applications.

What Personal Data do we collect and process ?

 A Wondercom, as part of its activity, will collect and process personal data necessary for recruitment purposes, provided by the Data Subject through the Curriculum Vitae, publicly-available information about candidates on social media (profiles related to business purposes, for example, Likedin) or information requested from the data subject with prior consent. The categories of personal data will be as follows:

  • Identification Data (name, date of birth);
  • Communication Data (email, mobile number);
  • Professional Data (job titles, work history, academic qualifications, employment history);
  • Other Personal data required for a specific purpose related to the job application.

 

What are the Purposes of the processing of Personal Data and the Lawfulness of processing ?

The Data collected by Wondercom is intended for Recruitment Processes such as research, selection and placement of candidates in the following situations:

  • Currrent recruitment purposes within the Wondercom Group;
  • Future Recruitment Processes inside Wondercom Group
  • Recruitment processes for Wondercom clients (current and futures), the candidates will be correctly informed;

 

The Lawfullness for processing the above.e mentioned Personal Data, shall be based on:

  • Consent, Wondercom will collect the Data Subeject´s consent whenever necessary to process the Personal Data.
  • Legitimate Interest, processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interest are overridden by the the interest or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject wich require protection of Personal Data. For example, if it is necessary for the job to review information about a candidate on social media in order to be able to assess specific risks regarding candidates for a specific function, the candidates will be correctly informed ( only publicly-available information about candidates.

 

How long do we store your Personal Data?

We will keep your information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy police. The maximum retention period for recruitment purposes will be 3 years.

 

What are your rights ?

You have a number of rigths concerning the personal data that we process, these include the right to request us acess to your Personal Data, retification, erasure, restriction, object to processing as well as the right to data portability. How to lodge a complaint ?

Notwithstanding, the possibility to lodge a complaint to Wondercom throu de poder apresentar a sua reclamação à Wondercom through the e-mail: dpo@wondercom.pt, you have the right to lodge a compalint with a Supervisory Authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), using the contacts made available for the purpose

 

Who might we share your information with?

We may share your personal information with:

  • Wondecom Group,in contexto of recruitment processes tha may arise;
  • Wondercom customers, within the scope of recruitment services, the candidates will be correctly informed;
  • A CVWarehouse as Data Processor;
  • Public Authorities when required by law.

 

Security of Personal Data

Wondercom takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against its loss, destruction or damage, accidental or unlawful and to ensure that the data provided is protected against unauthorized access or use by third parties.
