At the customer you will be responsible for development based on business processes, functional analysis/user cases. We are looking for a versatile person at ease in a quickly changing environment. In this job you'll use a lot of technologies, yet 'soft skills' are equally important.

Main tasks in a nutshell

  • Programming and testing of the changes in existing and new functionality
  • As a developer, you will design, implement and maintain applications
  • You will participate in projects, application development, maintenance and support activities for our applications
  • Work in a team on multiple projects using Agile principles
  • Write technical designs
  • Discuss functional requirements with the business
  • Produce and present architectural and development guidelines and best practices.
  • Write documentation/user guides

Profile

  • Master/Bachelor Informatics
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and root cause identification skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Object-Oriented programming/design
  • Good knowledge of the .Net technology including C# (WCF/WPF), NET 3.5 & 4.0, IIS 7.5, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, JQuery, etc.
  • Result-oriented, focused, analytical, problem solving
  • Good communication and negotiation skills

Appreciated extras

  • Good knowledge MS Project
  • Experience in the financial sector
  • Testing and bug tracking experience
  • Working with Open Source tools such as MySql and Subversion in a .Net environment
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
