The ICT Architect is a highly skilled consultant with a broad technical background who

  • translates business requirements into working ICT-systems by
  • identifiying requirements
  • understanding the as-is
  • proposing solutions
  • controls whether proposed solutions will function according to the requirements
  • acts as prime technical responsible in large engagements during both initiation and delivery phase
  • designs & validates architectures against requirements and assumptions
  • enforces the usage of standards within solution architectures


Mandatory:

  • 10 years of work experience, with exposure to several technology domains.
  •  Used to translate and breakdown complex requirements into coherent components
  • Experienced in implementing changes in complex organizations (communication and co-ordination).
  • Profound knowledge in at least 2 areas out of the followings and a basic understanding of the others:
  • Data Centers
  • Windows, Unix and/or Mainframe Systems
  • Storage (SAN, NAS, Primary & Secondary Storage, Archiving, …)
  • Applications
  • Data (Oracle, MS SQL Server …)
  • Network (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
  • Middleware / ESB (IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, Oracle ESB, …)
  • High Availability
  • Security (FW, VPN, Authentication, IPS, PKI…)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Architectural Models (Zachman, TOGAF, ArchiMate …)
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Knowledge of the financial industry

  • Good analytical skills
  • Good oral and writing communication skills
  • Take responsibility and initiative
  • Able to tackle problems independently
  • Result-oriented with attention to quality
  • A team player.
  • Able to lead virtual and remote teams
